George A. Poland Claimed by Death

George A. Poland, 89, a Kelso Resident since 1881, died Sunday in a local
nursing home after an extended illness.  He operated a Real estate and insurance
business in Kelso many years.

Poland served as clerk of the Kelso School Board from 1916 to 1936.  He was a
member of the Kelso Christian Church.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00
p.m. Wednesday at the Reardon-McVicker Chapel.

The family home is at 1313 S. 6th Ave., Kelso.
