LaPlant- Mrs. Bessie E., 80, 207 N. 2nd West Kelso, died Jan. 20, in a local
hospital. She was born July 18, 1888, in Iowa and had lived here about 50 years.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and Ladies of eagles.

Survivors include one niece, Mrs. Jim Spooner of Kelso; two nephews, Wayne Doble
of Longview, Jo Doble of Kelso; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Ruth Aberle of Kelso;
five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Ditlevsen-Moore Chapel with the
Rev. Arthur Wolf Officiating.  Interment in Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens.
Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Home was in charge.
