Mooney Eldred Ray Mooney, longtime Columbia River pilot, died Sunday in a local hospital. He was 92. Mr. Mooney, a native of Sac City, Iowa, was a Portland resident 75 years. He was a member of the Veteran Steamboat Men's Association and a member of Washington Masonic Lodge 46 AF &AM of Portland. Mr. Mooney is survived by a son, Eldred W., of Portland, and one grandchild. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Holman's Funeral Service. Interment will be at Skyline Memorial Gardens with Masonic Lodge 46 AF & AM officiating.
