Her husband Harry C. Churchill preceded her in death on May 10, 1983. She is survived by daughters Paula (Ronald) Case and Janet (Larry) Redelsperger; grandchildren Brooke and Paige Peoples, Amy and Aaron and Andrew Redelsperger, and great grandchildren Harrison Peoples and (on the way) Connor Doble Peoples. She was a lifelong member of the Christian Church. She worked for the WPA during World War II and was a Navy wife. She also worked for civil service at McChord AFB for several years. She loved flowers, gardening, reading, her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a very generous person. She contributed to her church, missionaries and many Christian organizations. All who knew her agree that she was very proper and always a classy lady. A memorial service, to celebrate her life and rejoice that she is now with Jesus, will be held on Monday, November 16 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. View Garden Chapel in Tacoma. Interment will be in Kelso.
