Silas M. Poland Dies

Silas M. Poland died Friday after being in ill health for the past four years.
He had made his home with C. C. Moose at 617 West Pendleton.  He was born in
Fayette County, Illinois, on October 7, 1871 and was 65 years old.  He is
survived by a daughter Mrs. Ada Huntly of Westlake, Idaho.  Brothers and sisters
are W. H. Poland, June Schaffer, Maud Adams, of Portland.  H. E. Poland and Emma
Barber of Carrolls, Washington; G. A. Poland and Bella Jenkins of Kelso.
Services will be held Monday at 2 o'clock.
