	Collins--Samuel A., 72, of Long Beach, died July 23 in Ilwaco hospital. He
was born Dec. 15, 1896 in Glendale, Ore., and had lived in the Long Beach area
for the past 16 years.
	Survivors include his widow, Laura at home; six daughters, Dorothy Ingram of
Crescent City, Calif., Ruby Brodluck of Baker, Ore., Irene Chamberlain of Kelso;
Louise Hollis of Eureka, Calif.; Pauline Byrd of Tacoma; Darlene Cook of Long
Beach; six sons, Claude G. Collins of Crescent City, Calif.; Monty F. Collins of
Klamath, Calif.; James R. Nolan of Springfield, Ore.; Lawrence Nolan of
Longview; Ivan Nolan of Kelso; Don W. Nolan of Long Beach; 41 grandchildren; and
19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
	Services will be held monday at 1 p.m. at Penttila's Chapel by the Sea with
Rev. Thomas Heald officiating. The casket will remain closed during the
services. Interment will be in the Ilwaco Cemetery. Penttila's Chapel by the Sea
is in charge of the arrangements.
