Born Jan. 30, 1924, in Kelso. Mr. Doble was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Kelso Assembly of God Church and the Kelso American Legion post. He was a former employee of the Weyerhaeuser Timber Co., and the Longview Fibre Co., and had served a year as a Cowlitz County sheriff's deputy. Surviving are the widow, June; Three sons, John C., David A, and Ralph D.: a daughter, Darlene Dee; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Doble of Kelso, and a brother, Lincoln J. of Kelso. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Ditlevsen-Moore Chapel with the Rev. John Manchester officiating. The American Legion will conduct graveside services. Interment will be in the Kelso IOOF Cemetery. The Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Home is in charge.
