OBITUARY - WALTER MERTON PATTERSON

Patterson - Walter Merton, 60, 289 West Side Hwy., Kelso, died Aug 26 in a local
hospital.  Born September 13, 1900, in Chicago, Ill., he moved to Kelso in 1902
and had lived here since that time.  Mr. Patterson is survived by his daughter,
Mrs. Virginia Martin of Kelso; a sister Mrs. Mildred Osier of Port Angeles; a
brother, Chase of Battle Ground; and three grandchildren.  Funeral services will
be Tuesday at 2 P.M. at McVicker's Chapel on the Hill with the Rev. Arthur
Morgan officiating.  Interment will follow at the Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens
Cemetery.  McVicker's Chapel on the Hill is in charge.
