OBITUARY - LAWRENCE HERBERT "RUSTY" NOLAN Submitted by: Leona Johnson, bell_crazy2000 at yahoo dot com Source: "Longview Daily News" newspaper, June 8, 1992 Lawrence Herbert "Rusty" Nolan, 68, of 371 Colorado St., Longview, died June 6, 1992, at home. He was born sept., 29, 1923, in Cadillac, Mich., to Paul and Laura P. (Elliott) Nolan, and came to the local area in 1926. Mr. Nolan had worked as a logger and millworker for Weyerhaeuser Co. He was a member of Gloria Dei Luthern Church and the Eagles. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. His wife Shirley Nolan, died in 1986. Survivors include two daughters, Chris Rheaume of Longview, and Claudia Voyles of Winlock; a son Lawrence C. Nolan of Deer Lodge, Mont.; his father Paul Nolan of Kelso; three sisters, Irene Chamberlain of Kelso; Darlene Peterson of Vancouver; and Louise Hollis of Eureka, Calif.; two brothers, Ivan Nolan of Aberdeen, Wash.; and Don Nolan of Long Beach; and five grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dahl's Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Home
