Nolan, longtime assistant director at the American Convalescent & Retirement Home, died Feb. 2, 1985, in her Longview home at 371 Colorado. She was 59. Mrs. Nolan was born Oct. 15, 1925, in Tacoma. She lived in this area all her life and was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Kelso. Mrs. Nolan is survived by her husband, Rusty Nolan, at home; parents Ronald and Maxine Gilbert of Federal Way, and Juliette Beairsto of Kelso; daughters Chris Rheaume of Longview and Claudia Voyles of Winlock; son Larry Nolan of Missoula, Mont.; and brother Jack Gilbert of Longview. Funeral services will be held wednesday at 11 a.m. at Dahl's Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Art McGee officiating. Interment, which is open to family members, will follow at Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens. Memorial services will also be held thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Americana with the Rev. W.C. Thurman officiating. The service is open to family, friends, and the nursing home's residents, staff and volunteers. Memorial contributions can be made to the Americana's activity department at 917 Seventh Ave. in Longview. Money will be used for a plaque and a video recorder and camera for nursing home residents.
