Funeral Held for J. Kennedy Mar. 1

Death came Thursday, Feb. 27, in a Vancouver hospital to James Franklin Kennedy,
78, a resident of Clark County for the past 12 years.  He was born in Nebraska
July 20, 1879.

Surviving are his 3 daughters, Mrs. Margaret Whisenhunt, Vancouver, Mrs. Rose
Hooker, Locust Gove, Okla., and Mrs. Evelyn Howell, Ponca City, Okla; five sons,
D.H. Kennedy, LaCenter, Lester, James and Everett, Portland; and Ray Kennedy of
Olympia; 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, Mar. 3, 11 a.m. in Hamilton Funeral Home and
vault internment was in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
