GRAVESIDE SERVICE HELD FOR ROYSE

A graveside service was held Wednesday for Thomas Parker Royse, a resident of
the upper Lewis River area about 20 years.

Mr. Royse died Sunday at the Barnes Veterans hospital in Vancouver.

He was born Sept. 19, 1885 in Indiana, and was a member of the TumTum American
Legion post of Amboy.

Survivors include the widow, Sylvia; three daughters, Betty Huffman, Ariel, Mrs.
Florence Moranee, Toledo, and Annabel Will, Yacolt; five grandchildren and one
great grandchild; and a brother, Amos J. of Stevenson.

The 3 p.m. service was conducted by Eldon Shetler of Pleasant View Community
church of Yale.
