Cook, 28, of Longview, died Feb. 8, 1989, in a Portland hospital as the result of injuries suffered Jan. 25, in a one-car accident on Coal Creek Road near Longview. Mr. Cook was born June 15, 1960, in Ilwaco. He attended school in Ilwaco and graduated from Kalama High School. Since 1978, he had made his home in Longview, where he had been employed with Norpac for the past seven years. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Cook in 1978. He is survived by a son, Daniel Cook of Seattle; his mother and step-father, Darlene and George Peterson of Vancouver; a sister, Teresa Richards of Ellensburg, Wash.; a brother Tad Peterson of Vancouver; two nephews, a neice, and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. saturday at Penttila's Chapel by the Sea, Long Beach, with the Rev. Don Davis of Gresham officiating. A graveside commital service and interment will follow at Lone Fir Cemetery, Long Beach. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday.
