Nick Keisala Services Today

Services were conducted today (Thursday) for nick Keisala of 3505 Lewis River
Rd., who died Monday at his home at the age of 73.


Keisala was born June 10, 1885 in Lapua, Finland, and moved to the United States
in 1906 and to Woodland in 1909.  He was a member of the Lutheran Church.


He is survived by his wife Ruth; two sons, Walter and Eugene both of Woodland; a
step-daughter, Vera Englert, Woodland; two stepsons, Leo Keiri, Coquille, Ore.,
and Robert Kouvo, Woodland; and by 10 grandchildren and a sister, Sophia
Makkonen, in Finland.


The services were conducted at the Christian Church by the Rev. Clifford
Bethune.  Burial followed at Frank Abel Cemetery.  Woodland Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
