Clark, 80, a resident of Woodland 30 years died Tuesday night at the Ridgefield Rest Home, where he had been a resident for the past two years. Mr. Clark was born in St. Johns, Ore., on Nov. 12, 1879. He moved to Woodland in 1929 where he resided until he and Mrs. Clark went to Ridgefield. He is survived by the widow, Exxie, of Ridgefield Rest Home; four daughters, Mrs. Marion Fleetwood of Woodland, Mrs. Helen Bong, Ft. Bragg, Calif., Mrs. Alice Townsend of Longview, Mrs. Sara Nimmo of Reedsport and two sons, Howard of Redwood City, Calif., and Philip of Wheaton, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; and a sister Mrs. Laura Oliver, Portland; and two brothers, Dee, Sunnyside and Alvin Grandview. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the Woodland Christian Church by the Rev. Clifford Bethune. Burial will be in Hayes Cemetery. Woodland Funeral Home is in charge.
