James Marden dies Aug. 30

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 for James A. Marden
who died Aug. 30 in Vancouver at the age of 76.


The Rev. Lee Andrews will conduct the services at the Presbyterian Church.
Vault internment will follow at the Stricklin Cemetery in Chehalis.


Mr. Marden was born Dec. 5, 1882 in Neillsville, Wisc.  He had lived in Woodland
since 1925, and owned and operated the Marden Garage until 1951 when he retired.
 

He is survived by his wife, Angie of Woodland, and two brothers, S.A. Marden of
Bellevue and William Marden of Greenwood, Wisc.


Woodland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
