Keisala, 41, died Dec. 28 at a logging camp on the Little Kalama River road while working for the L.A. Saari Logging Co. Born Nov. 29, 1915 in Woodland, Keisala had spent his entire life as a resident of Woodland, in the logging and farming business. For many years he had served on the board of directors for the Farmers Co-operative Store. Survivors include his widow Anna; two sons, Mitchell and Eugene; two daughters; Helena and Anna; two Brothers, Walter and Eugune; his father Nick and a step-mom Ruth, all of whom are from Woodland Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Presbyterian church, with the Rev. Walter L. Peterson officiating. Pallbearers were Oliver Saari, Leonard Saari, Fred Torpa, Cedric Davis, Robert Walila and Walter Osmanberg. Internment was in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver. The Woodland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
