Paul Garding Dies;  Service is Monday

Paul John Garding, 59, of route one, Woodland died Wednesday in Vancouver.
Services will be held Monday, June 10 at 1 p.m. in the Woodland Presbyterian
Church.


A former carpenter and farmer, Garding was born Jan. 10, 1898 in Finland.  He
has been a Clark County resident the past 13 years, coming here from Butte,
Montana.
 

Surviving relatives include; his wife, Saima, Woodland; two sons, Paul G.,
Dillon, Mont., and Victor of Woodland; daughter, Mrs. Viola Carson, Woodland;
brother, Peter Pikkarainen, Finland; sister, Mrs. Hilja Pikkarainen, Finland and
3 grandchildren.


The Rev. Walter Peterson and F.W. Kasinen will conduct the services.  Burial
will follow at Hayes Cemetery.
 

Woodland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
