OBITUARY - GEORGE W. STOCK

Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Nat Smith funeral home at Kelso
for George W. Stock, pioneer resident of this county who died at Vancouver,
Washington, December 21 [1933], at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ina Bursch.
Reverend John G. Gay of Kelso delivered the service. 

George Stock was born at Freeport, Cowlitz county, in 1854 and in 1883 was
married to Florence Anna Leonard, who passed away in 1910.  Nine children were
born to this union, seven of whom are living.  In addition to his six daughters
and one son he is survived by nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 
Interment wa a the Stockport cemetery.  Pallbearers were: Charlie Larson, Dan
Delameter, Ad Little, George Smith, Joe Sutherland, and Ed Johnson. 

Among out-of-town persons attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Atchley, Mrs. Jennie Zimmerman and Joe Sutherland, all of Vancouver; Hazel Hyde,
Klamath Falls, Ore. Lona Jensen, Banks, Oregon, and Harold Hyde, Grants Pass
Ore.
