Watkins, resident of this community for 55 years, died early Sunday morning at her home, after several months of illness. She was born at Silverton, Ore., April 16, 1870, and came here with her parents in 1884. They lived for several years on the West Side, moving to town in 1889. She was married October 11, 1905, to William Watkins. She was a member of the Christian Church. She leaves her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Crampton, of Onalaska, and Mrs. Effie Hill; two brothers, William and Warren Tucker; seven nieces, and six nephews. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Christian church, with Rev. Edward R. Rogers officiating. The church choir furnished the music. The pallbearers were Sam Jones, J.C. Mets, Pearl Campbell, Percy Affleck, James Boyd and L.P. Hurst. Interment was in the Whittle cemetery. Among the out-of-town relatives and friends present for the services were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle H. Redick and baby, of Eugene Oregon, Mrs. Jane Crampton, of Onalaska, Mr. and Mrs. Allen, of Centralia, Mrs. Opal Conklin of Montesano, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dunn and Mrs. Bertha Worley of Seattle, Bob Bateson and Albert Churchill, of Longview, Mrs. Doris Salzberry, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brewer, and Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm of Kelso.
