OBITUARY - HANFORD G. SEARLS

Searls-Hanford G., 79, a resident of Castle Rock for 48 years died May 15, 1950,
at Santa Maria, Calif.. Born Feb 11, 1871, in Oshkosh, Wis.  Survivors include
two sons, Edgar of Bremerton, and Paul of Silver Lake; two daughters, Mrs Nellie
Swift of Silver Lake, and Mrs Esther Fuller of Santa Maria; a brother, Ben
Searls of Bremerton; two sisters Mrs Viola Hooper and Mrs J. A. Searls of
Tillamook; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a
blacksmith by trade, and a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services will
be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Castle Rock Methodist Church, with Rev Martin K.
Skarbo officiating. The Hubbard Funeral Home is in charge.
