Searl - Roy C., 76, of Castle Rock, died at his home Thursday afternoon, March
13, 1947. Born in Bureau Co., ILL. July 30, 1870. He came to Castle Rock 28
years ago. Survivors include his widow, Caswell H. Searl; one son Floyd Searl,
USN; one stepson, Lewis Hammell, Castle Rock; two stepdaughters, Mrs Paul Searl,
Silver Lake; Mrs Harry McCulloch, Portland; one brother Lee Searl, Longview; one
sister, Miss Cora P. Searl, Castle Rock, and six grandchildren.  Funeral
services will be held at the Castle Rock Mothodist Church, Monday at 2 p.m. with
Rev William Richards officiating. Burial will be in Hubbard Cemetery. The
Hubbard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
