Born June 23, 1877, in Illinois, he moved to the Toutle area 60 years ago and formerly operated the Chevolet garage in Castle Rock. He came to the area in 1941. surviving are one daughter, Mrs Lovesta Miller of Kelso; two stepsons, Floyd Allen of Longview, and Everett Allen of Reedsport, Ore.; six step-daughters, Mrs Jacqueline White and Mrs Violet Bryson of Longview, Mrs Winnie Bing and Mrs Bessie Sulkoski of Tacoma, Mrs Arlene Sanders of Lewiston, Idaho, and Mrs Mabel Hayrymen of Toledo; 25 grandchildren; and one nephew, Floyd Searl, USN. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ditlevsen-Moore Chapel with the Rev Phillip Laurie officiating. Interment will be in the Toledo cemetery. The Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Home is in charge.
