Kirkendoll--Leo, 78, Rt. 1, Toledo, died Oct 13 [1972], in a local hospital. He was born Jan 11, 1894, in Castle Rock and had lived in Lewis County his entire life. He was a retired logger, a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Toledo and the Lone Yew Grange. Survivors include the widow, Eva at home; three daughters, Mrs Phyllis G. Vigil of Haywood, Calif.; Mrs Sharon Lee Brinson of Toledo,; Mrs Marilyn Mae Coleman of Morton; one sister, Mrs Gladys Booth of Corvallis, Ore.; one brother, Mark Kirkendoll of Toledo; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1a.m. at McVicker's Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel in Toledo, with the Rev William Hassler officiating. Those wishing to express sympathy may donate to the Bethel Assembly of God Church. Interment will be in the Lone Fir Cemetery, east of Toledo. McVicker's Fir Lawn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
