Death Claims A. F. Davis, 83, Of Castle Rock.

Castle Rock,-June 30,-Archibald Francis Davis, 83, resident of Castle Rock since
1887, died Monday in Longview hospital. He fell and suffered a leg fracture
about a month ago. He was born January 15, 1859 in Marion County, Indiana. 
He was a carpenter and worked on many homes here.

Surviviors include on son, Ellis Davis of Castle Rock; four daughters, Mrs Tom
Martin of Sumner; Mrs Pard Jackson of Castle Rock; Mrs Mose Rice of Castle Rock;
and Mrs Clarence Whittle of Castle Rock; a brother John of Granite Falls, Wash.;
19 grandchildren and 20 great=grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Hubbard
Funeral home with Rev L.T. Nebelung officiating.
