Ramsey, 53, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1994, at Bess Kaiser Medical Center in Portland. She was born April 16, 1941, in Vancouver and had lived in Cowlitz County for the last 35 years. Mrs. Ramsey was a member of the Woodland Seventh-day Adventist Church. She graduated in 1959 from LaCenter High School and later graduated from Lee's Beauty School in Longview. She is preceded in death by her son, Travis LaRoy, in 1976. Mrs. Ramsey is survived by her husband, Robert E., at home; two sons, Kirk and Darrell LaRoy, both of Kalama; a daughter, Sonja LaRoy of Kalama; her parents, Wallace and Daisy Lund of LaCenter; two sisters, Rhonda Lund of Vancouver and Janice Stumper of LaCenter; and four grandchildren. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at East Vancouver United Methodist Church, 5701 MacArthur Blvd. The casket will be open Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
