Zeisman, 76, of 308 Zeisman Road, Kalama, died April 9, 1994, in a local nursing home. He was born Sept 4, 1917, in Castle Rock, to Max and Gertrude (Bruce) Zeisman. In his early years he had a tie truck and hauled ties from small tie mills on the Lewis River. Mr Zeisman was a veteran of World War II. He was a millwright for Longview Fibre Co. for 32 years, retiring in 1982, and was a member of the Association of Western Pulp and Paper Workers Local 153, Longview Fibre Retirees. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and his family. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Laura, at home; a daughter, Alice Tatman of Portland; three sisters, Esther Ward of Longview, Amy Leitch of Sedro Wooley, Wa., and Dolly Modrow of Kalama; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1p.m. wednesday at the Kalama I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Chaplain Lonnie Hamby officiating. Friends may pay respects until 8 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. tuesday, and 9 to 11 a.m. wednesday at Dahl's Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Home.
