"Woodland Pioneer Dies"

   W. C. Rowe, aged 63 years, a resident of Woodland, died yesterday at St.
Joseph's hospital in Vancouver, where he had been confined for some time.  Nine
children survive.  There are eight daughters, as follows:  Mrs. Nettie Parrott,
Vancouver; Mrs. Sylvia King, Idaho; Mrs. Laura Jocjimsen and Mrs. Edna Patton of
Springfield, Wash.; Mrs. Bernice Stanmup of Newburg, Or.; and Mrs. Allie Rash
and Miss Georgia Rowe of Husum, Wash.  One son, John, lives in Sandy, Or.  The
body will be shipped to Newburg for intermet.
