Pioneer Passes

Kelso, April 10. -- Death yesterday claimed a real pioneer, Mrs. Ruth E.
Campbell, who crossed the plains in a covered wagon with her parents 77 years
ago, when she was 10 years old.  She had been a resident of Cowlitz county for
the past 34 years.  The family home was at 607 chestnut street, Kelso, where
death occurred, following a two months illness.
