Zumwalt Rite Set Memorial services are to be in Longview Saturday for Mrs. Dora A. Zumwalt, 89, a member of a Southwest Washington pioneer family. She had resided in Kelso and died last Friday. Mrs. Zumwalt was born July 7, 1874, in Woodbridge, Calif., and came to Lewis and southern Thurston Counties in 1898. She was the widow of John R. Zumwalt, who came to the area in 1870 as a boy. The family lived in Centralia from 1905 to 1933, when it moved to Olympia. Mr. Zumwalt died in 1954 in Washington, D. C. Surviving are a son, Riley R. Zumwalt, Kelso; a grandson, Riley R. Zumwalt Jr., New Orleans, La., and a great-grandson, Riley R. Zumwalt III, New Orleans.
