OBITUARY - ROSA (LADEW) WHITE Submitted by: Diana Smith Source: "The Oregonian", Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon. 2 Jun 1904, p. 4 "A Pioneer of Cowlitz County" Mrs. Rosa White, wife of W. H. White of East Sixth street and Mitchell avenue, Eastside, died yesterday at 12:10 pm. Mrs. White has been an invalid for some years, death being due to tumor. Rosa Ladew White was born in Cowlitz county fifty-four years ago. Her parents were among the earliest settlers in the territory of Washington, their arrival antedating that of nearly all living pioneers of this vicinity. Besides her husband, W. H. White, two grown sons survive her. The funeral will take place Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at Bates' undertaking parlors, P. D. Moore conducting the obsequies. The interment will be in Masonic cemetery.
