"Cowlitz County Pioneer is Taken by Death"

Kelso, Monday, Aug. 9.---Louis Kunzler, 66, pioneer resident of Stella and
Eufaula, in Western Cowlitz County, where he had lived forty-five years, died
Saturday after a long illness.  He was one of the early day loggers at Stella,
where he used an ox team in logging for many years.  He is survived by two sons,
Chester and Louis, Jr.  Funeral services were held at Eufaula this afternoon,
with interment in the Stella Cemetery.
