Centralia, Lewis Co., Washington. 28 Oct 1933, p. 6 "Pioneer Cowlitz Resident Passes" Kelso, Oct. 28---Mrs. Orpha Belle Shepardson, 64, who had resided in this vicinity for half a century, died Thursday at her home. She and her husband, Arthur Shepardson, owned a large farm west of Longview that they sold to the Long-Bell Lumber company, 10 years ago. They have resided in Kelso since. Survivors are the widower; a son, Lawrence Shepardson of Kelso, and four daughters, Mrs. Ada Bagley, Mrs. Maud Parkingham, Mrs. Fay Prentiss and Mrs. Leona High, Seattle; three brothers, Oliver Knowles of Portland; Henry Knowles, Kelso; and Sherman Knowles, kelso; and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Weber, Kelso and Mrs. Fred Stanley, Longview.
