Mrs. Elsie Viuhkola, Formerly Of Willow Grove, Dies Saturday

     A brief ilness following the birth of a son a week ago was fatal to Mrs.
Elsie Viuhkola, 29, of Mayger, who died in a local hospital late Saturday. Mrs
Viuhkola was born November 11, 1912, in Quincy, Ore., but lived in Willow Grove
most of her life. She moved to Mayger a year ago with her husband.
     Among survivors are the widower, Albert; infant son, Gary; six brothers,
Oscar, John and Martin Hendrickson of Longview, William of Astoria, Chris of
Portland and Isaac in the Army; and two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Laulainen of Kelso
and Mrs. E. Kaunisto of Longview.
     The funeral service is set for Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Ditlevsen
Funeral chapel with Rev. Philip Laurie of the Kelso Presbyterian Church
officiating. Burial will be in the Longview Memorial Park.
