OBITUARY: ERNEST A. ELLINGSON

Ellingson - Ernest A., 89, 4246 Stoney Point Rd., Santa Rosa, Calif., died July
31 [1971], in Santa Rosa. Born Nov 16, 1881 in Nicollet, Minn., he came to
Longview in 1923. He was a past president of the sons of Norway Lodge, a member
of the Emmanuel Luthern Church of Longview, was retired from the Long-Bell
Lumber Co., and had lived in the Longview-Kelso area about 45 years. He moved to
Santa Rosa in 1965, where he resided with his daughter.  Survivors include one
daughter, Mrs. Hazel Groce of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two sons, Roy and Elmer, both
of Kelso; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.  Memorial graveside services
will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens,
with the Rev. James Hanson officiating. Those wishing to express sympathy may
contribute to the Heart Fund.
