OBITUARY: JOHN RALPH BOZARTH Submitted by: Leona Johnson, bell_crazy2000 -at- yahoo.com Source: "The Longview Daily News", Cowlitz Co., Washington. 8 Dec 1944 John Ralph Bozarth, 72, member of a well known pioneer family of Woodland, died Friday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. W.J. Aust, in Chehalia where he had been visiting for the past six weeks. He has been ill only a short time. Cause of death was not learnded. Bozarth was born in Woodland, Feb. 16, 1872 and had maintained an almost continous residence in his native community, He was a farmer and as such had opportunitiy to witness agricultural and other advances in this part of the state. Surviving are the widow, Sarah Ann; three sons, Cecil S. of Gresham, Ore.; Elmer M. of Chehalis, and Lee G. of Portland; three daughters, Mrs. William E. Brewer of Kalama; Mrs. T.R. Harris of Rockport, Wash., and Mrs.W.J. Aust of Chehalis; nine grandchildren and one great- grandchild. The body is at the Reardon Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are pending.
