OBITUARY: DOROTHY (TAYLOR) ROEHM Submitted by: Linda Henson (Mullins), me@lindakellie.com Source: Newspaper clipping; May 8 1951 Services To Be Friday for Mrs. Dorothy Roehm Mrs. Dorothy Taylor Roehm, wife of Eugene Roehm, died Tuesday, May 8, at 9 p.m. at Seaside hospital, after a short illness. Born August 28, 1907, at Kelso Wash., Mrs. Roehm was married in 1932 at Seattle, to her surviving husband, and they established their home in Tacoma before comming to Seaside. She was a member of Maple chapter, Order of Eastern Star, chairman of the advisory board of Maple assembly, Order of the Rainbow for Girls, and a member of Calvary Episcopal church, all of Seaside. Mrs. Roehm was the mother of three children, all of whom survive; tow sons, James and Jeffery and a daughter, Ann. Other survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Ethyl Oyster and Mrs. Martha Smith of Tacoma, and Mrs. Nellie Mullins, Longview Wash.; six brothers, Earl Taylor and Clarence Taylor, Longview; Donald Taylor, Cutler City, Ore.; John Taylor, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Frank Taylor, Long Island N.Y. and William Taylor, Kalama Wash. Funeral services under the direction of Hughes-Ransom mortuary will be held Friday, May 11, at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Episcopal Church with Rev. Peter Barker efficiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Charles Cartwright, Roy G. Clark, Emmett Cole, Ed Nimmo, Arvin Sabey, Gordon Shaw and Duncan Shield. Members of Maple chaper, O.E. S. and Maple assembly, Order of Rainbow, will participate in the services. Burial will be in Ocean View cemetery.
