Williamson, 73, owner and operator of the former Airport Grocery in Kelso, died March 20, 1984, in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1911, at Norman, Ark., and came to the local area 20 years ago from Elgin, Ore. He currently resided at 235 Beebe Road, Castle Rock. Williamson served with the Army Engineers during World War II and was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge 67 and Order of Eastern Star 52 at Elgin. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Williamson at home; a son and grandson, Billy Jim Williamson and Tim Williamson, both of Mena, Aek; three sisters, Pauline Kitchen of Lyle, Wash., Virl Young of Kelso, and Imogene Anshutz of Castle Rock; three brothers, Larry Williamson of Kelso, and Jerry Williamson and Tom Williamson of Castle Rock; and numerous neices and nephews. Services are 2 p.m. friday at Hubbard Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Martin Lee and Masonic Lodge 62 of Castle Rock officiating. Services will conclude at the chapel and private interment will follow at Whittle-Hubbard Cemetery. Friends who wish to pay their respects may call at the funeral home until 8 this evening and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
