OBITUARY - LILLIAN LAVERNE CHAMBERLAIN Submitted by: Kenny Palmer, genealogypro98632@yahoo.com Source: "The Daily News," Longview, Cowlitz, Washington, 27 Feb 2004 Lillian LaVerne Chamberlain, 77, of Kelso, passed away February 24, 2004 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born April 28, 1926 in Castle Rock to Lila (Johnson) Bebe and Clifford D. Johnson. She lived in the local area her entire life. She married Kenneth Chamberlain on May 5, 1944 in Castle Rock. She was a member of the Longview Elks, Women's Bowling Association, and Lexington Evangelical Free Church. She was also a past member of the Longview Moose. Mrs. Chamberlain enjoyed bowling, gardening, cooking, going to the coast, holidays with family and friends, and watching sports on T.V. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Chamberlain in 1989; and sister, Clara Eddington in 1993.Mrs. Chamberlain is survived by two sons, Ronald Chamberlain of Kelso, and Darrell Chamberlain of Longview; two daughters, Cynthia Osborne and Sandra Larson both of Castle Rock; sister, Alice Russell of Castle Rock; brother, George Johnson of Longview; two step-brothers, Rodney Jones of Kelso and Aiden Bebe of Castle Rock; along with eleven granchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held from 10:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2004 at Hubbard Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Hubbard Funeral Home with Jerry Hancuff officiating.Interment will take place at Whittle Hubbard Cemetery.
