Born in Waynesville, Mo., Aug. 7, 1920. Came to Longview in 1946 from St. Louis, Mo. He was a member of the Boommen and Rafters Union and the American Legion at St. Louis, Mo. He was a World War II veteran. He was employed by the Weyerhaeuser Timber Co. as a boomman. Survivors include widow, Tony Bernice; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Wilson, Waynesville, Mo.; one son, David; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Carver, Portland, Mrs. Olease Moore, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Edna Cox, Chicago; three brothers, H.A. Wilson, Longview, Mert Wilson, St. Joseph, Mo. and Woodrow Wilson, Waynesville, Mo. Funeral services will be held at the Steele Chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Merle Johns officiating. Interment will be in Longview Memorial Park. The Steele Funeral Home is in charge.
