Here is a photo I hope to find more information on.
As the matt shows, this was taken by Woodland's first professional photographer. I would think despite being shot in the studio, that this is likely a class photo from one of the one-room schools the Bozarth, Strong and Thiel families built. I believe so because of the age-spread of the children. It could, however, be a Sunday School class.
I know some of the identities, but would rather have them all, teacher's name, and a year!
Front row, left to right. First girl is my Aunt Bessie Strong [later married Humphrey Rankin, calling herself Maxine Rankin], don't know second girl.
Middle row, first girl, Lizzie Strong [aka Ellen, her middle name?] oldest of Sol. and Amelia Strong's daughters, unknown, Clara Effie Strong [later Mrs CW Gardner] unknown boy.
Back row, I only know the last boy, who I believe to be Solomon [Bud] Strong, Sol and Amelia's oldest boy.
Any other identifications, and especially the year, would be very welcome.
