Here is Clara Strong's graduation.

Eighth grade or High School? Some of them look too young for high school (and there may not have been one built yet) but back then children were allowed to skip foreward as many grades as they could, and some took a year or two off from school if their family needed them to work on the farm, or entered quite late in life because there had been no school where they came from. Since farming was more important than schooling, Eighth Grade graduation was very important. Many people never went on to high school...

Once again I'd love to know the year, and ID of the other kids.

In this photo I only recognize Clara. She's in the middle row, second from the left. I think I recognize the face directly behind Clara, and that I met her once as an adult, but don't recall a name.

Look at those faces! Going to school was such a serious business, back when not everyone was able to go.
