Jack Hillman submitted the following obituary for Elizabeth (Johnson) Galloway, his third-great grandmother. Jack writes the following of David and his wife Elizabeth (Johnson) Galloway: "they are my 3rd Great Grandparents Galloway. They are buried in the Catlin Cemetery, although they aren't listed as being buried there. Their stones and records are missing. They traveled to Washington in 1854 with there son Thomas Findley Galloway and his wife Sarah Howard Walker Galloway and Family. Her Father George Howard Walker is said to have also traveled with them. Thomas and Sarah settled west of what is now Prescott, Oregon. David, Elizabeth and George Howard Walker settled in Kelso. David died in Kelso. Elizabeth moved to Portland about 1870, where she died, but she was buried in the Catlin Cemetery." The obituary appeared on March 6, 1884 in the "Pacific Christian Advocate".
Jack has also contributed a photograph of Elizabeth (Johnson) Galloway with her husband, David Galloway.
