ADNA

Mrs. Bennett suffered a bad fall recently breaking a bone in one arm and injuring her back. She is convalescing at her home at Adna. Her many friends hope she has a complete recovery in time.

Rev. and Mrs. F. H. Brockmuller motored to Sequim last Monday to visit their son, Reuben, and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Niles, from Tacoma, have moved to Adna and are at present living with Mr. and Mrs. Niles, parents of Will Niles, until they get located.

Friends of Mrs. Blake, an old-time resident of Adna, will be sorry to learn she is not so strong these past weeks. She now lives with a brother in Tacoma.

The Bartell home on Main street in Adna has recently been sold to a Mr. Moore, from Onalaska. Mr. Moore and family will soon be moving here.

A shower was held at the home of Mrs. Paul Miller last Tuesday afternoon in honor of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Willpert, nee Beaulah Miller, now of Lincoln creek.

Mesdames A. Smiley and Paul Miller entertained the Crego hill home economics club at the home of Mrs. A. Smiley on Wednesday afternoon. A pot luck dinner was served to 21 ladies. Several visitors were present. Atfer [stet] the business metting a social hour followed.

Mrs. Fountain, who lives on Pleasant Hill, caught her heel on the step and fell downstairs recently. She escaped with only a badly sprained ankle, having to use crutches for a time.

Mrs. Duncan, also a resident of Pleasant Hill, has lately returned from a trip to Tucson, Ariz., where she visited relatives several weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray McKenzie and Warren Olson of Seattle were weekend guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Olson, and family.
