Robertson Rite Dated

Archie E. Robertson, 71, of Chehalis, died Monday at a Chehalis hospital.

He was born May 20, 1899, in Monmouth, Maine, and had been a resident of Chehalis since 1936, coming from bonners Ferry, Idaho. He was a tire repairman, a member of the First Evangelical Covenant Church, Chehalis, the Chehalis Eagle Lodge and the Teamsters Union.

Surviving is his widow, Mary E., at home; four daughters, Mrs. Frank (Nona) Elder, Tacoma, Mrs. Lloyd (Doris) Gavin, Centralia; Mrs. Edgar (Muriel) gillespie, Coquille, Ore., and Mrs. Michael (Esther) Gilligan, Centralia; a son, Gordon E. Robertson, of Tenino; three sisters, Mrs. Lynn (Emma) Williams, Moscow, Idaho, Mrs. Charles (Melissa) Jenick, Harrison, Idaho, and Mrs. Irvin (Olive) Collins, of Avery, Idaho; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday, 3 p.m., at the Boone Chapel, Chehalis, with the Rev. Melvin Walker officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
