Death Takes Ex-Resident

A former longtime Chehalis resident, Mrs. Ada L. Sadler, 81, died Sunday in a hospital in Seattle. She had lived in a retirement home at Des Moines since 1961, when she moved from Chehalis.

The deceased was the widow of Lewis Sadler. He died in 1956. The family had lived in Chehalis since 1919.

Mrs. Sadler was born Oct. 10, 1884, at Priest Valley, Calif. She was a member of the Chehalis chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and of the Chehalis Rebekahs. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. H. A. Hyde, Carmel, Calif., and Miss Viola Palmer, Santa Cruz, Calif.; two brothers, Darrow Palmer, Santa Cruz, and Dewey Palmer, King City, Calif., and a niece.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Boone mortuary in Chehalis.
