Body of Aubrey Tiller Found In Cowlitz

The body of Aubrey Tiller, 20 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Tiller of Highland valley, near Morton, was found in the Cowlitz river Wednesday of last week at the mouth of Kickitat creek, by Walter Wyatt of Mayfield, who was on the opposite side of the stream at the time. The body was clothed in a blue work shirt, an old pair of pants, with no shoes or hat. Sheriff J. A. Blankensip and Coroner W. R. Scott, who went to the scene, had it brought to Boone's Mortuary at Chehalis. Identity was confirmed late that evening by an uncle of the young man. The family was notified through the help of Marshal M. E. Waste of Morton. The young man disappeared from home December 20 and an unsuccessful search had been made for him. He had previously wandered away for extended periods while ill. Surviving relatives, besides the parents, are four brothers and four sisters. Funeral services were held Saturday at Morton, burial being in the local cemetery.
