Mrs. Barbara J. Harris, 96, a resident of Centralia from 1961 to 1969, died Oct. 13 at Reedsport, Ore.
She was born at Haltwhistle, England, Jan. 39, 1875, and came to the United States at the age of 10. She moved to the West Coast to live with a daughter, Mrs. Chris (Pearl) Schmidt, Centralia, in 1961. The past two years, she lived with another daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Ruby) Sealle, Reedsport, Ore.
Survivors in addition to the two daughters are a son, Glen Wiig, Sergeant Bluffs, Iow; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Clarkson, Sioux City, Iowa, and Mrs. Charles (Edna) Fennel, Menlo Park, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was Saturday at Sioux City, Iowa.
