Miss Elizabeth Gries, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Gries of Toledo, and Homer Evan Calvin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Calvin of Seattle were married Thursday afternoon at the Methodist church in Chehalis by the Rev. Own J. Beadles. The bride wore an ensemble of powder blue crepe with white accessories and a corsage of tea roses, lilies of the valley and gardenias. Her bridesmaid, Miss Cecile Maud Wetzel, wore a gree ncrepe [sic] dress, and carried a bouquet of sweet peas.
Mr. and Mrs. Calvin left immediately on a trip to southern California and will be at home to their friends after April 26 at the New Paramount apartments in Seattle. The bride is a graduate of the Toledo high school and for the past eight months has been employed in Seattle.
