Crockett Blankenship
Crockett Blankenship, of Mossyrock, 71, passed away at Morton Saturday. He was born in McDowell county, West Virginia and moved to Washington 38 years ago. He was a member of the Baptist church for 32 years.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas of Onalaska and John D. and Virgil Blankenship, both of Mossyrock; two brothers, Harrison of Idaho and McCulley Blankenship of Wyoming county, West Virgina; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Bailey of McDowell county, Mrs. J. H. Lester of Glenoma and Mrs. Tennesee Blankenship and Mrs. Armeda Blankenship, both of Wyoming county; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of the Brethren of Ajlune, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. E. L. Whistler officiating. Burial, will be made in the Doss cemetery, Mossyrock under the direction of David G. Myers of Morton.
